The Centre for Language, Discourse and Communication at King’s College London will be holding a Cross-London Sociolinguistics seminar on Tuesday 27th November 2018, from 5-7pm.
This sessions will explore issues around these areas:
- Are questions about political engagement becoming more salient for sociolinguists, and if so, why?
- What, if anything, can we learn from the past?
- How relevant is this to your own doctoral project? If it is, how do you propose to handle it all?
The event is co-ordinated jointly by Miguel Pérez-Milans (UCL Institute of Education) & Ben Rampton (King’s College London).
