Language Assessment Literacy: What, Why and How

The aim of the first part of this webinar is to introduce the audience to key issues of Language Assessment Literacy (LAL) and to encourage them to critically reflect on their own levels of LAL. The second part will focus on practical ideas on how to enhance LAL and the kind of LAL practices to follow inside and outside the classroom. This will be implemented with reference to the most recent online platforms, including the TALE project, and other online sources that can help expand our understanding and practice of LAL in various contexts in an attempt to develop an assessment culture in Europe and beyond. Participants will have the chance to explore and comment on the various theoretical and practical issues of the webinar.

The webinar will be delivered using the Zoom platform.
