Immerse Education is Looking for Tutors to Teach English this Summer!

Immerse Education is a leading academic summer programme based in Cambridge and Suffolk whose mission is to provide high school students aged 13-15 from around the world with fascinating insights into what it’s like to study in the UK, alongside improving their English language skills. We achieve this through small class sizes (<12 students per class) and focusing upon tutor-student engagement, making classes interesting and interactive, as well as exploring a variety of teaching approaches.

We are looking for tutors who are interested in teaching on our EFL programmes in Cambridge and Suffolk across July and August. During the two week programme the requirement is teaching participants aged 13-15 for 4 hours per day (split into morning and afternoon classes). We will provide a rough course structure for tutors to follow to encourage consistency among classes, but are willing for tutors to bring their specific skills and expertise to the programme and use their initiative to assist development of interactive and informative courses. We also ask that each tutor provides feedback to each student at the end of the course to express the progress they have made and their contributions to the class.
