THE SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES
The School of Foreign Languages (SFL) provides students studying at BAIBU (Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University) with English language education at international standards by coordinating and monitoring the academic work in its units, namely English Preparatory Department, Modern Languages Department and the Department of English Translation and Interpreting. The primary goal of SFL is to enable the students at BAIBU to achieve the necessary foreign language knowledge and skills they need to follow the lectures in their departments, express themselves and exchange information. It helps its students to access and effectively use all kinds of resources related to their academic studies and to use English in their professional lives by communicating in written and oral contexts. Besides English, our school offers courses in other languages- German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian , Ukranian, Chinese and Farsi.
